The Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) Media Weigh Ins were Thursday night and the event was a HUGE success! This year saw a record turnout, which took place at the prestigious Kasa Moto in the heart of Yorkville. The epic rooftop patio, combined with the breezy summer weather, set the scene for an unforgettable evening! Guests enjoyed complementary OMT Vineyards wine donated by Old Mill Toronto and beer from our official partners at Steam Whistle. The Kasa Moto kitchen prepared an incredible selection of Japanese cuisine to the over 400 guests of the Media Event.
FTEC Founder and Executive Director, Jennifer Huggins, and her partner in crime and FTEC Head Coach and Director Virgil Barrow, along with their incredible crew of staff and volunteers, set the stage. Media, sponsors, family and friends attended the event to celebrate the true heroes, the fighters.
