The 2018 Fight Team is poised to make FTEC history.  Their collective goal is to break the $1 million dollar mark in total contributions raised by FTEC in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.  Each one of this year’s fighters comes with uniquely personal motivation, but they all share one common goal:  to end cancer in our lifetime.  Use the link below to get to know the individual team members better and support them in their Fight To End Cancer!
Defeat Is NOT An Option

Like many of us, Alison Turnbull has been directly touched by cancer, losing her mother to the disease in 2016.  A veteran attendee of the annual Fight To End Cancer gala, Alison says she was motivated to become a fighter when she witnessed the level of commitment to training she saw in the FTEC team.  She is the most recent member in a long line of fighters coming from Eagle Professional Resources and Alison was surprised to learn that scoring the W on fight night will be included on this year’s performance review.

“I am beyond thrilled that I’ve been selected to be part of #FTEC2018’s fight team.

I will be spending the next 7 months training with 9 other ‘non-boxing professionals’ – and on June 2, 2018 I will be stepping into the ring to ‘literally’ fight to end cancer.

In June of 2016, my mother Iris Collins – one of the most vibrant, healthy, amazing and giving people I have ever known – was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and within 10 weeks she was gone.  I am fighting for her – as well as for the countless others I know who have been impacted by this terrible disease.

Anyone who knows me knows that before this July I had never seen the inside of a gym.  But if you are looking for me between now and next June, that’s likely where you’ll find me.

I am incredibly grateful for all of the support – I have a very lofty goal but know that together we can do it!

Please consider donating to this very worthy cause and giving me that extra motivation to keep going, AND consider joining us on June 2nd, 2018.”

Founded in 2011, the Fight To End Cancer has donated over $750,000.00, in support of cancer research, with proceeds going directly to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
The year-long fundraising efforts of the Fight To End Cancer are celebrated each year in an event like no other.  Featuring a new group of white-collar men and women, with no prior boxing experience, Fight To End Cancer’s annual black tie gala concludes months of their intense training, in a sanctioned Olympic-style boxing event.
Fight To End Cancer has quickly grown to become a premium fundraiser and showcases these brave individuals, as they lace up their gloves and step into our ring to help knock out cancer.
