Let’s Take A Moment To See All The Matchups For FTEC2019…

Bout 1 – Sponsored By: RG Speed Control Devices

Fight To End Cancer 2019 (FTEC2019) will kickoff with a fight sponsored by RG Speed Control Devices featuring two professional, highly skilled salesmen in a bout being dubbed “Closing Time”.  Apparently second prize in this contest doesn’t get you a set of steak knives, it means you’re fired!
Rick ‘The Natural’ Denley, also sponsored by RG Speed Control Devices, spends his days advising others so they can become better versions of themselves.  ‘The Natural’ doesn’t want to give away too much, but let’s just say that his guidance to his opponent will include “letting their guard down”.
Fedele ‘The Archangel’ Rossi, sponsored by Old Mill Toronto, is not a guy that takes “no” for an answer.  After several years trying out for the FTEC, ‘The Archangel’ finally got the nod for FTEC2019 and guarantees that he will take full advantage of the opportunity, delivering “winged fury” in the ring.

Bout 2 – Sponsored By: Combustion

Our second bout of FTEC2019, sponsored by Combustion, features two of our female fighters.  By all accounts, these two have become great friends through FTEC 2019.  You know what they say; familiarity can breed contempt.
‘Sweet-T’ Talia, sponsored by Wolfepoint Consulting, is the poet laureate of FTEC2019.  Replacing words with jabs and crosses, ‘Sweet T’ plans on authoring a beautiful sonnet on fight night, causing her opponent to swoon early in the third round.
Ceilagh ‘Fury’ MacDonald, sponsored by Eagle Professional Resources, is the self-proclaimed Queen of Christmas.  Known to sing carols in May, ‘Fury’ is planning on giving her opponent a steady stream of gifts on fight night, each one wrapped in a boxing glove and delivered by hand.

Bout 3 – Sponsored By: Grafton Apparel

The third fight of FTEC2019 , sponsored by Grafton Apparel, is a study in contrasting fighters.  The long limbed, punishing fighter versus the compact powerhouse that doggedly moves forward.
Deren ‘Rampage’ Hasip, sponsored by RV Law, has five children and clearly understands what it takes to not only survive, but flourish, in a chaotic environment.  ‘Rampage’ will be relying on his perseverance, speed and determination, to take this battle to the inside and come away with the win.
Paul ‘Centurion – Officer Of The Roman Army’ Agapito, sponsored by York Marble, has the longest fighter nickname in the history of the sport.  Apparently the FTEC ring announcer is already putting in road work in preparation for fight night.  This vocal patriot is looking forward to showering his opponent with a seemingly unending supply of aggressive hospitality on fight night.
This promises to be an interesting tilt with both fighters determined to showcase their particular skills and physical attributes.

Co-Main Event | Bout 4 – Sponsored By: Eagle Professional Resources

The co-main event, sponsored by Eagle Professional Resources, brings together our second set of female fighters on the FTEC2019 Fight Team.  These two fighters have a long history that pre-dates FTEC, and rumour has it, there might be some long-standing grudges in play.
Renata ‘Relentless’ Reynolds, sponsored by Avison Young, is a world-famous paint-by-number genius, reportedly being sought after by several galleries.  A former fitness competitor, ‘Relentless’ is working hard to incorporate a straddle hold into her growing arsenal of defensive skills.
Lisa ‘Lights Out’ Ventura, sponsored by City Alliance Real Estate, has started a petition to have high-heels allowed into the ring.  A former nationally ranked fencer and current yogi, ‘Lights Out’ plans to get right to “the point” on fight night and introduce her opponent to the savasana pose.
This promises to be a spirited affair as both fighters are tremendous athletes and great competitors.

Main Event | Bout 5 – Sponsored By: Landscape Plus

Finally… The FTEC2019 main event is brought to you by Landscape Plus Ltd. and has been nicknamed “Battle of the Flows”.  The winner will be given an added incentive, a bottle of leave-in conditioner, in addition to the championship belt.
George ‘The Cleaner’ Boutsalis sponsored by Impact Cleaning Services, is a one-man musical machine.  Whether it’s spinning vinyl or playing drums, George promises to keep a 4/4 meter with his jab come fight night.  George says he is available for weddings or birthday parties.
Josh ‘The Humble Hammer’ Hillinger sponsored by Steam Whistle Brewing, is a fighter with professionally trained quick feet.  A former professional tap dancer, Josh expects his opponent to be swinging at air, as he dances around the ring landing punches as he goes.
This fight promises to be a thing of beauty with flowing hair, intricate choreography and a beat that just can’t be ignored!

Fedele Rossi | View Full Bio
