“We sang, danced, shared stories, told jokes, raffled away loads of prizes, enjoyed pizza and refreshments, and had many belly-laughs together. It was a magical evening! We hope to build on these cherished memories in support of the FTEC campaign and look forward to hosting the 2nd Grafton’s Got Talent Night next year! We hope that you will be able to join us.
There was about 60+ in attendance. Proceeds raised from this event was an impressive $1511, thanks to the generosity and support of everyone – our families, friends, and colleagues!
Special thanks goes to Ed Portillo, Store Manager of Kingsport, for serving as our Emceee and Enrico Galante, Canada’s #1 Saxophonist and performing artist, for being our Sound Engineer. Huge thanks as well to our celebrity performers, Liberty Silver (the recipient of 3 Juno Awards, 1 Grammy, 5 R & B Music Awards) and Markus (Juno-nominated and YTV, Treehouse, and Popular Children’s Performer). We feel honoured that our guest artists came out to support the Grafton’s Got Talent Night-FTEC campaign with a lot of love to share and huge hearts!”

Thanks to Ray Reeds, District Manager, Nasser Rifai, VP of Store Operations, Lance Itkoff, CEO, for their unwavering support from the beginning. With Ray, Nasser and Lance’s support, the idea to host a first ever Grafton’s Got Talent Show became a reality!
Grafton-Apparel head office staff pulled together to support this event with generous donations for give-away prizes, awesome marketing campaign and promoting, as well as event planning and set-up. Special thanks goes to head office staff: Erika from the Senior HO team, Leni and the Marketing team, Maura and Sue from the HR Dept, Luigi and the Buying team, and Toby.
Though this evening’s main focus was about supporting a worthy cause (FTEC) and inspiring hope, it was much more than that—-the evening brought us together in community (our families, our friends and colleagues), forging new friendships, and creating a safe and welcoming space to share our talents. We were so musically inspired by our outstanding guest performers: Enrico Galante, Liberty Silver and Markus.
We would like to thank all of our talented performers – Pero, Abdullah, Rosanna, Anna, Aly, Chanel – for entertaining us throughout the evening.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support Grafton’s Got Talent Night in support of the FTEC—for this very worthy cause!
