The Fight to End Cancer gala could not happen without awesome community support. Our 2018 Gala will mark our first year partnering with Chase Hospitality Group (CHG) and we are delighted to have them on board. The 2018 Fight Team invites you to Kasa Moto (operated by CHG) for an experience unlike any other, in Toronto’s exclusive Yorkville neighbourhood. Kasa Moto is an exclusive two-story Japanese restaurant and lounge located in the heart of Yorkville. This exciting location, with a sprawling rooftop terrace, wood ceilings and lush indoor topiary, will host the Fight To End Cancer’s Official Media Day Weigh-ins on Thursday May 24, 2018. Sponsors, VIP guests and Toronto media will have the opportunity to meet & interview our 2018 Fight Team. These courageous men and women have been training in Olympic-style boxing for the past six months. They are preparing to step into the ring on Saturday, June 2nd for our 7th Annual Fight To End Cancer black tie gala, in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
Enjoy a fun night with the Official 2018 Fight To End Cancer Fight Team! Interviews, photo ops and the Official Weigh-in ceremony are just a couple of the elements we will be featuring at the beautiful Kasa Moto. We will have a live DJ, celebrity guests, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. We will also be featuring wine from OMT Vineyards and beer from Steam Whistle – compliments of our Official Wine and Beer Partners.
Fight To End Cancer has quickly grown to become a premium fundraiser which showcases these brave individuals, as they lace up their gloves and step into our ring to help knock out cancer. The FTEC Fight Teams have raised over $800,000.00 in direct donations to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation since 2011.

About Kasa Moto
Kasa Moto is a sprawling Japanese restaurant in Yorkville from the Chase Hospitality Group. Like its sister restaurants , Little Fin and Colette , it’s an upmarket, seafood-centric dining experience – only here the tables are set with chopsticks and the walls adorned with hand-painted koi.
Open for lunch and dinner, you’ll find the dining room and sushi lounge housed on the first floor, while Bar Moto (available for private functions) occupies the second floor and leads the way to the sprawling rooftop patio outfitted with a dedicated bar and cabanas.
The menu, from Executive Chef Michael Parubocki, (formerly Momofuku) and Chef de Cuisine Daisuke Izutsu, ( Don Don Izakaya ), is organized into cold and hot plates, rice and noodles, robata, sushi, and larger more substantial selections, like steaks and whole grilled fish.
