As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we are all experiencing uncertain times. In light of the current situation, in consultation with our partners and the FTEC Fight Team, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Fight To End Cancer for 2020. We are working to reestablish dates for and will be in touch with all event partners, sponsors and attendees when new dates have been identified. The Fight To End Cancer is important me to for the way in which the disease has touched both my family and many other families in such a scary way. My Uncle Brian was a young man by today’s standards when esophageal cancer took his life. Both his brother and other family members have been diagnosed with a condition which can very often lead to this same cancer. Every dollar that can be raised in efforts to contribute to research and early detection means a lot to me. Both my Father and my Father in law have won their battles with Cancer and I Intend to win this small fight in support of their victory. Lastly I have two young children and a third on the way and I hope that together we can all do our part to eliminate any ounce of risk we can in protecting the next generation from this deadly disease.
