Tristan Bolton, the brilliant artist behind TDAWXG, is making waves not only for his creative talent but also for his profound commitment to giving back.

This year, Tristan is offering two of his stunning artworks to the Fight to End Cancer charity auction, with 90% of the proceeds going directly toward supporting cancer research and awareness efforts. Through this extraordinary gesture, Tristan is turning his passion for art into a powerful force for good.

One of the pieces he is contributing is The Opponent, a 36” x 43” stretched canvas painting that explores themes of resilience, strength, and fighting against adversity. Previously showcased in a Toronto gallery group exhibition, this piece embodies the spirit of those who face cancer head-on, making it a poignant addition to the auction. “My set starting bid for The Opponent is $1200 CAD,” Tristan explains, “which reflects the value of a matching painting displayed alongside it in the same exhibition. I believe this piece will resonate with bidders and contribute meaningfully to the charity’s efforts to fight cancer.”

“Fighting cancer has always been a prominent part of my life. For as long as I can remember, I’ve seen its effects on close family and friends. The experience of watching one of my dad’s best friends battle cancer her entire life was especially impactful. Her courage and resilience, even in the face of overwhelming adversity, left a lasting impression on me.”

About The Fight To End Cancer
The Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) is a year-round initiative driven by ambassadors, sponsors, and volunteers worldwide. Since our inception in 2012, we have donated nearly $3 million to the cause. Funds raised by FTEC go directly to the GTX Program at The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Each year, we honour the hard work and dedication of our FTEC family through alternating events: a black-tie charity boxing gala and our newest initiative, The Friday Night Fights ‘To End Cancer’. Our mission is to raise funds for cancer research year-round with the support of the local community and business owners. Together, we will end cancer in our lifetime.
