February 2, 2025 marked more than just another afternoon of fitness—it was a powerful celebration of community, resilience, and raising an incredible $1,300 in support of cancer research and awareness.

The Solis x Fight To End Cancer event brought together passionate individuals for an unforgettable day of movement and meaning. Participants gathered at Solis Movement and chose their path: either embracing the intensity of The Sets with Julia or powering up in the dynamic Solis Strong class with Josh. Both sessions ran simultaneously, pulsing with energy and purpose as attendees came together for a shared mission—to help create a world without cancer.

A Blast From the Past

Kristin Smith-Zuccala will be stepping into the ring on May 31 as one of the official Fight To End Cancer corporate fighters.

Last year, Julia and Josh stood in the ring as proud FTEC2023 fighters, stepping up to fight for the cause in the most literal sense. This year, they came together outside the ring as collaborators—using their passion for fitness to continue their advocacy. Their journey has now come full circle, not only by raising critical funds, but also by sponsoring FTEC2025 fighter Kristin Smith-Zuccala, who will carry the torch forward this year.

From fighters to fundraisers, from teammates to leaders—Julia and Josh embody the spirit of FTEC, proving that the fight doesn’t end after fight night. It continues in the everyday actions, community efforts, and moments of unity like this.

We’re incredibly proud and grateful to Solis Movement, Julia, Josh, and every participant who made this event a success. Your strength fuels the fight. Your support changes lives. And together, we move closer to ending cancer—one powerful rep, step, and donation at a time.

About The Fight To End Cancer

The Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) is a year-round initiative carried out by ambassadors, sponsors and volunteers worldwide.  Over $3,000,000 has been donated to date, since our inaugural year, in 2012.  Funds raised by FTEC are donated directly to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.  Each year we celebrate the incredible hard work and dedication of our FTEC family with a black-tie charity boxing gala.  This gala showcases ten men and women who represent our Official Fight Team.  Our goal is to raise funds for cancer research year-round with the support of the local community and business owners.  Let’s make a difference now in the fight to end cancer, for a long and successful future for everyone.  This is an event like no other and has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in Toronto.
