This boxer has accomplished more in the sport of boxing in 8 years than most will in a lifetime.  Moe Zawadi, sixteen years old, was first introduced to boxing through his brothers friend, Mark Smither.  He was only 8 years old when he first walked through the doors of Uptown Boxing Club in Barrie Ontario.

“Jack once told me the first time he saw me throw a punch, he knew there was something in me.  From that day on, he has been in my corner and by my side.  He has helped me through everything in this sport, working with my diet and training when I have a big fight coming up.  We both think that I’ll become a 2020 Olympic champion!”

The fight card will feature some of Canada’s best boxers holding provincial and national titles.  These fighters may be matched up to put on the ‘fight of the night’, but they are all fighting for one cause!  Our Co-Main and Main Event fights will feature Mark Smither and Kassandra O’Reilly – they both fought on the inaugural Fight To End Cancer card in 2012.  We will be starting the show off with a couple of novice boxers who are up and coming!

We can’t wait to showcase the best of boxing at the Friday Night ‘Fights To End Cancer’.  Huge thank you to The Gentlemen’s Expo (TGE) for joining us in the Fight To End Cancer!  Learn more about what this cause means to TGE2017 Info/Donate Now
