Champion boxer Amanda Galle continues to prove she’s a true fighter—both inside and outside the ring. Her journey of resilience began long before her professional success, when in 2013, her mother, Nicolina Galle, was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. At the time, Amanda was training for a national title but took on the additional role of sole caregiver for her mother. Her unwavering determination left a lasting impact on those around her, including Coach Rick Cadilha of the Waterloo Regional Boxing Academy, who has known Amanda since her early amateur days.
