Your role as a fighter in the Fight To End Cancer is extensive, to say the least. The fight is the culmination of months of hard work, dedication, and fundraising to support cancer research. But, you are not in this alone! The Kingsway Boxing and Fight To End Cancer teams will guide you through and prepare you entirely for the road ahead.
YOUR Responsibilities
Help Create Awareness
Spread the word about our cause through your personal networks and on our social platforms.
Fight Training
Fighters will train as a team. All training will be supplied by our Official Boxing Partner: Kingsway Boxing Club.
Fundraising
You will set up your fundraising site and reach out to your friends, families and colleagues for support.
Have Fun
This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience; it’s your chance to fight for those you love and help make a difference.

It’s more than just stepping into the ring; there are two pathways to becoming an FTEC Fighter. If you’re interested in joining our Friday Night Fights team, you’ll become an Ambassador Fighter with the aim of raising $500.00 and spreading awareness. As a corporate gala fighter, you’ll play a crucial role in selling tables and securing sponsorships. Gala fighters are also expected to achieve a pledge goal of $10,000.00 – $20,000.00, directly benefiting The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Are you ready to join the fight?

REGISTRATION COST
Train Like a Pro, No Experience Necessary
Your one-time registration fee covers everything you need to be a fighter, including your Boxing Ontario Amateur Licensing, which is mandatory for all boxers to spar and compete.
$1000+HST
Full Registration Cost
This one-time fee will cover all expenses associated with being a corporate FTEC Fighter. Ambassador Fighters may not incur fees for their participation and can choose to train at their home gyms.

Registration Process
Hundreds apply, but only ten are chosen. Here are the steps you need to take to get started.

Review Fight To End Cancer Info
Stepping into the ring is a massive commitment. Not only will you be undertaking a year of intense training, but you will be expected to raise over $10,000. Please read more about FTEC to see if this is the right fit for you.
STEP 02
Complete the FTEC Fighter Application
Please set aside approximately 15 minutes to complete the application thoroughly; incomplete or uninformative submissions will need to be re-submitted. We look forward to reviewing your application.

If you are interested in participating in our Annual Charity Gala, please select (FTEC). The FTEC Charity Boxing Gala boxer selections require a tryout (September), and applicants must not have competed in boxing or any other martial art to be considered.
