The Fight To End Cancer Annual Gala hosts an elegant gourmet dinner, various entertainers, and an evening of Olympic-style boxing. It’s an experience like no other and has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in Toronto. We’re working on the details for our much anticipated 9th Annual Fight To End Cancer Fundraiser. Step Into the Ring and
Take the Fight to CancerYour role as a fighter in the Fight To End Cancer is extensive, to say the least. The fight is the culmination of months of hard work, dedication, and fundraising to support cancer research. But, you are not in this alone! The Kingsway Boxing and Fight To End Cancer teams will guide you through and prepare you entirely for the road ahead.
YOUR Responsibilities
Help Create Awareness
Spread the word about our cause through your personal networks and on our social platforms.
Fight Training
Fighters will train as a team. All training will be supplied by our Official Boxing Partner: Kingsway Boxing Club.
Fundraising
You will set up your fundraising site and reach out to your friends, families and colleagues for support.
Have Fun
This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience; it’s your chance to fight for those you love and help make a difference.

It’s about more than stepping into the ring. As an official FTEC fighter, your help will also be necessary for the sales of tables and sponsorships. You will also have a pledge goal of $10,000.00 – $20,000.00 to go directly to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Are you ready to fight?

REGISTRATION COST
Train Like a Pro, No
Experience NecessaryYour one-time registration fee covers everything you need to be a fighter, including your Boxing Ontario Amateur Licensing, which is mandatory for all boxers to spar and compete.
$650+HST
Full Registration Cost
This one-time fee will cover all costs associated with being an FTEC Fighter.
Whats included
Become an official amateur boxer.
A licensed physician is provided to determine if you are ‘fit to fight’.
Get the skills you need with six months at Kingsway Boxing.
Join the FTEC team at the training program you need to succeed.
All boxing equipment and apparel for media appearances, photoshoots & event day.
Apparel & tracksuits for media appearances, photoshoots & event day.
All corporate photography and videography, including headshots and interviews.
Registration Process
Hundreds apply, but only ten are chosen. Here are the steps you need to take to get started.
STEP 01
Review Fight To
End Cancer InfoStepping into the ring is a massive commitment. Not only will you be undertaking a year of intense training, but you will be expected to raise over $10,000. Please read more about FTEC to see if this is the right fit for you.
STEP 02
Complete the FTEC Fighter Application
Please set aside approximately 15 minutes to complete the application thoroughly; incomplete or uninformative submissions will need to be re-submitted. We look forward to reviewing your application.

Fight. Apply Today.If you are interested in participating in our Annual Charity Gala, please select (FTEC). The FTEC Charity Boxing Gala boxer selections require a tryout (September), and applicants must not have competed in boxing or any other martial art to be considered.
The Friday Night Fights ‘To End Cancer’ is our exclusive competitive edition of the Fight To End Cancer series for experienced boxers only. We require applicants to have Provincial or National experience to apply for this position.
