Celebrating life while standing strong against cancer!

We are proud to shine a spotlight on one of our sweetest supporters—Break My Cake, a small business with a big heart and a powerful message of giving back. Known for their delightfully creative smashable chocolate creations, Break My Cake has generously donated one of their signature products to support The Fight To End Cancer.

Break My Cake is all about celebrating life’s sweetest moments, offering custom-made chocolate smash cakes and treats that bring joy, surprise, and indulgence to birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, and just-because days. Every item is handcrafted with love, designed to not only taste amazing but to create a memorable experience from the moment you pick up the hammer.

When Sweet Meets Strong: A Small Business with a Big Heart Joins the Fight Against Cancer

But beyond the celebration, Break My Cake also understands that life’s moments can be deeply affected by the challenges of cancer—something that hits close to home for many in their community and customer base. That’s why they’ve stepped up to support the Fight To End Cancer, using their creativity and compassion to help raise critical funds and awareness.

Break My Cake’s donation will contribute to our shared mission at Fight To End Cancer—an annual initiative that brings together community, compassion, and competition to raise funds for groundbreaking cancer research and patient support through the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, one of the top 5 cancer research centers in the world. Our organization is built on the belief that every punch thrown, every dollar raised, and every story shared brings us one step closer to a future without cancer.

A Cause Close to Home. In their words:

“At Break My Cake, we’re all about celebrating life’s sweetest moments — but we also recognize that for many, those moments are shadowed by the impact of cancer,” says Tennaya, founder of Break My Cake. “While we aren’t a cancer-focused business, we’re a small company with a big heart — and we know that even one contribution can help make a difference. Supporting this cause is our way of showing up, giving back, and using what we create with love to support something that truly matters. This donation may be small, but the fight is big — and we’re honored to be a part of it.”

About The Fight To End Cancer
The Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) is a year-round initiative driven by ambassadors, sponsors, and volunteers worldwide. Since our inception in 2012, we have donated over $3 million to the cause. Funds raised by FTEC go directly to the GTX Program at The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Each year, we honour the hard work and dedication of our FTEC family through alternating events: a black-tie charity boxing gala and our newest initiative, The Friday Night Fights ‘To End Cancer’. Our mission is to raise funds for cancer research year-round with the support of the local community and business owners. Together, we will end cancer in our lifetime.
