At the core of the Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) is a community of individuals and businesses who step up with passion, purpose, and a personal connection to the cause.

This year, we are proud to welcome Joel Levy—through his companies, Fistle Media Inc. and Wildwood Nature Escape—as a dedicated sponsor of FTEC 2025.

Joel, founder of Fistle Media Inc., has long been a supporter of FTEC, offering media coverage that shines a light on the boxers, their stories, and the tireless work of FTEC founder Jennifer Huggins. From day one, Joel recognized the power of this initiative and wanted to contribute in a meaningful way.

“I met Jen many years ago when FTEC was fairly new. She had so much passion for the cause, and I thought it was a great idea. I wanted to be involved with my media company to help promote it any way I could,” shares Joel.

A Gift of Escape and Exposure: Wildwood Retreats and Fistle Media Fuel the Fight

Tucked away in the heart of Canada’s wilderness, this glamping retreat seamlessly combines natural charm with modern comfort.

This year, Joel and his team are going above and beyond by donating two luxurious 2-night stays at Wildwood Nature Escape—his stunning, off-grid retreat nestled in nature. Each package includes:

  • A 2-night stay in the dome of your choosing (based on availability)

  • A guided 45-minute river tube ride for an added touch of adventure

In addition to these incredible getaway packages, Fistle Media Inc. will also be donating exclusive media coverage—highlighting all of the FTEC boxers, their inspiring journeys, and the powerful work being done by FTEC founder Jennifer Huggins. Through this visual storytelling, Joel continues to amplify the voices of those fighting both in and outside the ring, making his contribution to FTEC both personal and far-reaching.

But Joel’s support doesn’t stop at beautiful getaways or media content. His dedication comes from a deeply personal place.

A Cause Close to Home. In their words:

“My family lost our Amelia at 4 years old. My cousin Leah, her mother, spent 4 years doing trips to the hospital and having surgeries, only to lose her only daughter.

My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer, went through surgeries and radiation, and then beat a second cancer years later. My aunt had a mastectomy. My uncle beat prostate cancer. My cousin Alex had a massive tumour in his belly at just 30 and is now 10 years cancer-free.

Writing this out, it becomes clear how pervasive cancer is and how affected we all are by it in our society. I am driven to do what I can to help out.”

– Joel Levy

Joel’s story is a poignant reminder that cancer touches us all—and that change comes when we choose to act. Through Fistle Media Inc.’s powerful storytelling and the restorative experiences offered by Wildwood Nature Escape, Joel is making a meaningful difference, both in raising awareness and directly supporting FTEC’s mission.

We are incredibly grateful for Joel Levy’s unwavering support, and we’re proud to stand alongside him in the fight to end cancer—one story, one stay, and one survivor at a time.
