The Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) team is honoured to receive the continued support of Humbertown Jewellers!

Humbertown Jewellers has generously donated the OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra 150 Men’s and Women’s watches, to be featured in a special presentation at the 2023 Fight To End Cancer Gala. Humbertown Jewellers takes great pride in providing unsurpassed customer service and one of Canada’s best collections of fine jewellery and timepieces. Humbertown Jewellers has been in the west end for over 40 years, cherishing their client relationships and the surrounding community. Understanding that many people in the community have been directly affected by cancer, either personally or through a loved one, Humbertown Jewellers wants to give back to help find a cure. Giving back is a core value of the team, and they are proud to have partnered with the Fight To End Cancer team.

Ferit Tecimer, Owner and President of Humbertown Jewellers, is well aware of the innovative and ground-breaking work The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation continues to provide for all those directly affected by cancer. His daughter is a family physician in the community and sees directly how important Princess Margaret’s services are for her patients. His son-in-law is a physicist at Princess Margaret, which has allowed Ferit to gain a greater appreciation and understanding of Princess Margaret’s important role in new discoveries through its cutting-edge research programs.

It wasn’t until he met with Jim Mosher, though, owner of Landscape Plus Ltd. (FTEC’s presenting partner), that he was introduced to the Fight To End Cancer. Ferit never thought he would be involved in anything related to boxing, but after Jim’s enthusiasm and his known commitment to doing everything “just right,” he decided to meet with Jennifer Huggins, founder of the Fight to End Cancer. Ferit was inspired by her vision, her goals, and her commitment to giving back to the community. He knew right away that he would do whatever he could to help Jennifer knock out cancer!

Ferit Tecimer opened Humbertown Jewellers 43 years ago, in the neighbourhood where he has lived just as long. As owner and president of the business, it has always been important to him to offer an unsurpassed collection of Swiss watches and fine jewellery, and serve his clientele with the warmth and dedication of a family-owned business. Trained as an architect and coming from generations of jewellers, Ferit combines these legacies to design and create beautiful, custom-designed jewellery and curate the finest haute horlogerie timepieces. Ferit prides himself on understanding what his customers are looking for and ensuring he and his team deliver it with ultimate service excellence, creating a truly unparalleled experience. About The Fight To End Cancer

The Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) is a year-round initiative carried out by ambassadors, sponsors and volunteers worldwide.  Over $2,000,000 has been donated to date, since our inaugural year, in 2012.  Funds raised by FTEC are donated directly to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.  Each year we celebrate the incredible hard work and dedication of our FTEC family with a black-tie charity boxing gala.  This gala showcases ten men and women who represent our Official Fight Team.  Our goal is to raise funds for cancer research year-round with the support of the local community and business owners.  Let’s make a difference now in the fight to end cancer, for a long and successful future for everyone.  This is an event like no other and has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in Toronto. www.fighttoendcancer.com
