In addition to bringing out 100 participants, this year’s Survivor Bootcamp represents a huge milestone; nearly 30K in donations to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation!

Mariela Burkett’s life has been all about perseverance, since being declared cancer-free eight years ago.  Mariela took her commitment to fitness, personal training, and inspiring others to a whole new, epic level, from the moment she reached remission. The result is her now-famous Survivor Bootcamp. Part fitness class, part revival and part family reunion, the Survivor Bootcamp is quintessential Mariela: fierce, passionate, challenging, and uplifting. The Bootcamp is something that must be experienced to be truly understood and appreciated with all proceeds going directly to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

We are so fortunate to call Mariela family and have her on our Fight To End Cancer ambassador team. We would also like to express our gratitude for her incredible friends and family who come out to support Mariela, year after year!

Get a head start on 2024… Join Mariela for her 2024 Survivor Bootcamp on Saturday, Apr. 27, 2024!

About The Fight To End Cancer

The Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) is a year-round initiative carried out by ambassadors, sponsors and volunteers worldwide.  Over $2,000,000 has been donated to date, since our inaugural year, in 2012.  Funds raised by FTEC are donated directly to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.  Each year we celebrate the incredible hard work and dedication of our FTEC family with a black-tie charity boxing gala.  This gala showcases ten men and women who represent our Official Fight Team.  Our goal is to raise funds for cancer research year-round with the support of the local community and business owners.  Let’s make a difference now in the fight to end cancer, for a long and successful future for everyone.  This is an event like no other and has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in Toronto.
