There’s No Fight Tougher Than Cancer, Home Trust, Home Happens Here!
The support from Mike and his team at Home Trust has been remarkable. Their team of dedicated professionals have helped people put down roots for decades, even when they thought it wasn’t possible. Their Fearless Leader, Mike “The Closer” Forshee, has now done the unthinkable and jumped into the ring to support The Fight To End Cancer. Mike may face some hits without a proper forecast, for the next 6 months, and we aren’t talking financially.
Mike has dominated his opponents in raising donations. He has reached the $10,000 mark, is halfway to his goal and feeling confident in his supporters and their dividends.
“I am both proud and humbled to join the Fight to End Cancer this year. Proud, because of the inspiring community that we get to join throughout this journey; and humbled by the strength of those fighting cancer every day alongside their families and loved ones. Having lost friends and family to cancer in recent years, that feeling of loss has never left me. This fight affects us all in some way and is an important reminder that we are in this together. I am grateful for the opportunity to do my part to beat cancer for good, and I know my colleagues and peers at Home Trust are in my corner!”– Mike Forshee
We have been saying “Welcome Home” since the very first day we opened for business. For decades, our team of dedicated professionals has helped people put down roots, even when they thought it wasn’t possible. We have changed the way lending is done in this country and changed countless lives along the way.
About Home Trust
Home Trust began in 1977 with a goal to help all Canadians achieve their goals. We have grown to become a leading financial services institution in Canada, but that’s not what matters most to us.
What matters is the mortgage broker who was able to help someone who wouldn’t otherwise qualify for a mortgage to purchase their first home. Or the business for self customer who was able to expand their operations. Or the newcomer to Canada with big dreams of building a new life.
The stories of our customers — those who turn to us, who put their hopes in us, who rely on us every day to find a way forward — are our motivation to succeed.
About The Fight To End Cancer
The Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) is a year-round initiative carried out by ambassadors, sponsors and volunteers worldwide. Over $1,500,000 has been donated to date since our inaugural year in 2012. Funds raised by FTEC are donated directly to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Each year we celebrate the incredible hard work and dedication of our FTEC family with a black-tie charity boxing gala. This gala showcases ten men and women who represent our Official Fight Team. Our goal is to raise funds for cancer research year-round with the support of the local community and business owners. Let’s make a difference now in the fight to end cancer for a long and successful future for everyone. This is an event like no other and has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in Toronto. www.fighttoendcancer.com
