Kick The Flip Out Of Cancer | Featuring CJ’s SKATEPARK
The Fight to End Cancer gala could not happen without awesome community support. Since 2015, CJ’s SKATEPARKand CJ Graphics have been a strong supporter of the Fight To End Cancer. Their commitment and support to the event speaks volumes about their desire to make a difference. In their own words:
“The CJ Group of Companies is honoured to support the Fight To End Cancer. By working together, raising awareness, and achieving strong funding we will help make cancer a thing of the past.
Giving back has always been a top priority for me. As President and CEO of 34 companies, I’ve experienced the effect cancer has had on co-workers, friends, as well as losing both my parents to cancer. Devastatingly, too many children are also touched by this and I have taken a personal interest to help them with their battle.
As Founder of CJ’s SKATEPARK, the largest Not-for-Profit indoor climate controlled skatepark in the world, I developed a program we proudly host called “Kids Being Kids”, its FREE for children and their families affected by cancer, sponsored by CIBC in partnership with OPACC (Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer), Childhood Cancer Canadaand Gilda’s Club of Greater Toronto. Nomatter what they are going through, kids still need to be kids. They happen to be going through a tough time and being able to brighten their day, in whatever way, is so rewarding.
The CJ Group of Companies supports all organizations thathelp to Fight To End Cancer once and for all!”
~ Jay Mandarino, Founder and President
