Fighting for Cancer and Fashion NoNo’s Everywhere | Featuring Boa Apparel Inc
The Fight to End Cancer gala could not happen without awesome community support. Our 2019 Gala will mark our year partnering with Boa Apparel Inc and we are delighted to have them on board.
Boa, a fashion-forward, Toronto-based clothing boutique was established in 2001 by twin sisters Ofra and Daphne Nissani. Immersed in the apparel/retail world from a young age, the sisters while familiar with the industry, we’re excited by the prospect of starting their own fashion boutique. Driven by their love of fashion and their entrepreneurial spirit, Ofra and Daphne persevered through the obstacles of launching and running a business. Part of their special brand of customer service entails communicating to their style team the importance of understanding their customer base; mainly women who want more than just what’s IN fashion. Their commitment and support for the event speaks volumes about their desire to make a difference. In their own words:
“Our father lost his battle with cancer just a week before the Fight To End Cancer event. It is not an easy thing to watch a loved one try and combat cancer. It is our pleasure to be a part of this event because we want to make it easier for those fighting for their lives.”
About Boa Boutique
Boa Boutique is a women’s fashion boutique based out of Toronto Canada. Boa supplies all our right side girls with their fantastic outfits throughout the evening. Our girls looked fantastic at our Fight To End Cancer Main Event on June 1, 2019.
Boa provides a unique and personalized customer experience that seems to be lost amid the retail chain giants that dominate our malls and mass produce their garments overseas. Boa carries mostly MADE IN LOS ANGELES clothing because the sisters love the idea of providing quality goods manufactured in North America, keeping consumer dollars in North America, and creating a smaller carbon footprint. Boa also carries local Canadian brands, like the popular C’est Moi Seamless Collection.

About Fight To End Cancer
The Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) is a year-round initiative carried out by ambassadors, sponsors and volunteers worldwide. Funds raised by FTEC are donated directly to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Each year we celebrate the incredible hard work and dedication of our FTEC family with a black-tie charity boxing gala. This gala showcases 10 men and women who represent our Official Fight Team.
