About Fight To End Cancer…
The Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) is a year round initiative carried out by ambassadors, sponsors and volunteers worldwide. Over $1,000,000.00 has been donated to date since our inaugural year in 2012. Funds raised by FTEC are donated directly to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. There are only a few weeks left before our highly-anticipated 8th Annual Fight To End Cancer Charity Gala presented by Landscape Plus and Grafton Apparel. We want to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the action! Be sure to hashtag #FTEC2019 to join the fight and become a part of FTEC history
Don’t Miss The Official Media Day Weigh-ins | Thurs. May 23 5pm
Please be sure to RSVP for special access to our 2019 Official Media Day Weigh-ins. This will be the last opportunity to get exclusive access to the #FTEC2019 fight team before they fight on event night. Enjoy a fun night with the Official 2019 Fight To End Cancer Fight Team! Interviews, photo ops and the Official Weigh-in ceremony are just a couple of the elements we will be featuring at the beautiful MINDSET Brain Gym. We will have a live DJ, celebrity guests, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. We will also be featuring food from Planta and beer from Steam Whistle – compliments of our Official Wine and Beer Partners.
Due to medical and fight sanctioning, access to the fighters on Fight Night will be extremely limited. If you are looking for media access to the gala on June 1, please contact Jennifer Huggins.

Who Are The #FTEC2019 Fighters?
What do you call someone who elects to make a 6 month commitment to do hundreds of hours of physical training, and raise thousands of dollars for cancer research — all while maintaining their regular commitments to work and family, as well as getting punched in the face? You call them a hero! And what do you call a group of 10 of these heroes? You call them the Fight To End Cancer 2019 Fight Team.
With the $1 million dollar barrier broken, what is the next big dream for The Fight to End Cancer? That’s easy…$2 million dollars in total contributions.
We celebrated reaching our Million Dollar Milestone in direct donations to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, in 2018. Our partners even had the honour of taking a tour through the high-tech facility at Toronto General Hospital, where much of the funds are directed in order to successfully complete nearly 9000 cancer related operations annually.
The past 7 years flew by and felt almost effortless! Want to know what isn’t as easy? Committing to over 6 months of intensive physical training, raising thousands of dollars for cancer research – all while balancing your regular commitments to work and family. Then, at the end, your reward is to step in the ring with another person who means to punch you in the face. Making that commitment is exactly what these 10 incredible people have done!
The 2019 Fight Team, in combination with our presenting partners, Landscape Plus Ltd. and the newest addition to our top tier partners, Grafton Apparel Ltd., are the first group of fighters to take that next step in FTEC history. Their collective goal is to move towards the $2 million dollar mark in total contributions raised by FTEC in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Each one of this year’s fighters comes with uniquely personal motivation, but they all share one common goal: to end cancer in our lifetime.
