Robert Paniccia knows he is among the fortunate ones whose health has not yet been directly affected by cancer.  Robert has been a close supporter of previous FTEC fighters and he has enthusiastically joined the 2018 FTEC team, to personally do his part to support the vital research of the doctors, chemists, and volunteers of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

“After attending this event two years ago and watching my friend in the ring, I decided to try out for the team.  Unfortunately, I was not selected for the 2017 fight team but was fortunate enough to be selected as part of the FTEC2018 team and this year it means a lot more. 

We have all been touched by this horrible disease and unfortunately, most of the time we sit back hopelessly, while our friends and loved ones suffer.  This year my participation means a lot more, as it has hit closer to home.
My goal is to raise money and awareness for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, as a selected member of the FTEC2018 fight team.  All of the money raised for my fight will go to Princess Margaret to help them find cures and help them fight and conquer Cancer.
 
Please sponsor me and support my hard work, but more importantly, make a difference in cancer research that will help people locally, as well as many others globally.  There is strength in numbers and we can all do our part in this fight! 
The Princess Margaret is one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world – when we train scientists and researchers at The Princess Margaret, they share and train colleagues all over the world.

ABOUT FIGHT TO END CANCER

Founded in 2011, the Fight To End Cancer has donated over $750,000.00, in support of cancer research, with proceeds going directly to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
The year-long fundraising efforts of the Fight To End Cancer are celebrated each year in an event like no other.  Featuring a new group of white-collar men and women, with no prior boxing experience, Fight To End Cancer’s annual black tie gala concludes months of their intense training, in a sanctioned Olympic-style boxing event.
Fight To End Cancer has quickly grown to become a premium fundraiser and showcases these brave individuals, as they lace up their gloves and step into our ring to help knock out cancer.
