Kim Hamill helps run the practice of two labour and employment lawyers at DLA Piper (Canada) LLP, and she’s stepping into the ring as our 2017 Co-Main Event. Kim is directing her personal fundraising dollars to pediatrics, because she feels that children have to fight harder to truly understand the depth of what a cancer diagnosis means. She wants them to know that she (along with many others) are out there fighting for them.
” In one form or another, we have all been affected by cancer. I feel privileged to be a part of this fight and know that the next seven months will be demanding, both physically and mentally. My fight pales in comparison to the real fight a person diagnosed with cancer faces every second, of every day. “
