Crossfit_Logo” Cancer sucks. We have a lot of members who have been diagnosed, or are in active treatment, and others who are determined to exercise and stay fit while battling this disease. They have proven to believe in themselves and to always want to support others “

Hard Work Pays Off In The Fight To End Cancer | Featuring CrossFit Colosseum

On Saturday February 18th, CrossFit Colosseum joined the Fight To End Cancer by hosting a fundraiser at their west-end gym.  Over 60 athletes came out to show their support and complete the “The Ghost” Workout – a classic conditioner that tested their endurance with six 3-minute rounds of rowing, burpees and skipping.
As the athletes rolled in to take their best shot at the workout, even more wonderful supporters came to watch and cheer, including our friends from Toronto Police Services – 22 Division.

Toronto Police Officers from 22 Division stopped by CrossFit Colosseum to ensure Allison’s safety as she completes her fundraising mission. Robyn Moyles, Allison’s friend along with dozens more came out in support of the Fight To End Cancer.

After the hard work was complete, everyone recovered with some great food, laughter and friendship. Best of all, this incredible array of sweaty and friendly people, collectively contributed $1500 toward FTEC2017 Fighter, Allison Dellandrea’s personal Fight To End Cancer campaign!

” Feeling ridiculously grateful, and truly humbled by the generous support of so many great friends at the FTEC2017 Fundraiser at Crossfit Colosseum. How did I get so lucky… to be part of such a wonderful community? “
